The technical sector is for those who have passed their +2 with a science background.

4. JCO

JCO stands for Junior Commissioned Officer. This post lies between havildars & lieutenants. It is higher than Havildars & lower than Lieutenants.

Eligibility:

  • In some departments like cooking, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Maths & Science. However, in most cases graduate candidates are required.
  • Age Limit: 21 to 27 years.

  • The selection in JCO is based on open/registration based rally.

9. Musicians

Play various musical instruments representing naval bands during ceremonial parades and other official functions. 

Qualification:

  • Minimum Qualification: Passed Class Xth exam.
  • Proficient in basic knowledge in theory of Music, Western notation and aural aptitude.
